GLUTEN FREE, Hand-rolled, Bialy Bagles!

What is Bialy?

Polish Jewish immigrants introduced the bialy to the United States in the late 1800s. The popularity of bialy led to the establishment of many bakeries in New York City, particularly in the Lower East Side of Manhattan, which was referred to as the hub of bialy production. At its peak, dozens of bakeries were producing bialys in this area.

Flavor

Bialy bagels with cheese and onion are a delicious and unique twist on the classic bagel. These bagels are made with a soft, chewy dough that is similar to traditional bagels but without a hole in the center. Instead, they are flattened slightly and topped with a mixture of caramelized onions and savory cheese.

The caramelized onions give the bialy bagels a rich, sweet flavor that is balanced by the sharpness of the cheese. The cheese also adds a creamy texture to the bagels, making them even more enjoyable to eat.

These bagels are perfect for a quick breakfast or a satisfying snack. They can be eaten on their own, or toasted and topped with butter, cream cheese, or your favorite spread. They are also a great addition to a brunch or lunch spread, especially when served with smoked salmon or cured meats.
